Our Recreational Program is for girls aged 5 & up and is based off of skill level. Unfortunately, we do not have a Boys' gymnastics program past our co-ed preschool program.
Keep in mind, it's ok if your child needs to do the same level multiple sessions. Remember, each child works at a different pace. Some skills come easily, and some take more time! When your child is ready to move up, she will receive a move-up certificate or your child's coach will let you know. Otherwise, please register for the same level.
If your child has previous gymnastics experience, please set up a time for a quick evaluation!
From walking to Kindergarten, Tumble Buddy 2s to Fantastic 4s, preschool program has something for everyone! MBG's age divisions allow our coaches to focus on the developmental needs specific to each group, and with levels based on age, your child will progress both personally and athletically. Additionally, our gym is full of specially designed preschool-sized equipment just right for the growing bodies of our smallest athletes! Even our youngest preschool gymnasts work on tumbling skills such as rolls and the beginnings of cartwheels and handstands!
This 105 minute (1x/wk) advanced class is geared toward introducing students to the skills necessary for our Compulsory Team Program without the stress and anxiety of competition. Major skills this level will be working on include (but are not limited to):
This 45 minute co-ed class is for children 3 years old & is the first class our students are allowed to participate in all by themselves! Coaches will promote psychical fitness, in addition to introducing basic gymnastics skills on vault, bars, beam, floor, and more! Students are encouraged to discover turn-taking, manners and other early childhood social skills as well as developing body awareness, coordination, and cooperative learning.
This 55 minute co-ed class is for children 4 & 5 year olds and leads into our Recreational Program. Children will be encouraged to master progressively more difficult gymnastics skills. They also continue to experience strength training in the form of Tumbltrak, Loose-foam pit play and trench slide stations.
This 45-minute class co-ed is designed for children 18 months-3 years old and requires ONE active buddy--parent, caregiver, etc (no additional babies or siblings are allowed in class). As an introductory class in movement education, children begin to develop physical strength and coordination, as well as balance and agility at an early age. But the greatest aspect of this class is the interaction between buddies and their children.
